My chair's recline lock isn't working anymore. Anyone know how to fix it?

Today my chair decided to stop locking the back rest in place where I keep it, so whenever I lean back now it slips and the chair reclines more. Is there any way I can figure out what's causing it, and if possible fix the issue? Or is the chair just not going to work now?
