Non cyclical breast pain for months

I have had pain in one breast for 4 months. I have a mammogram scheduled but was just wondering if anyone had experienced this. It started hurting about 4 months ago. Really doesn’t hurt unless it gets pushed in the right spot. I can’t hug my children or if my baby kicks my boob when he is laying on my lap it is excruciating.. kinda like a burning/ nerve sensation around my nipple but it has to be hit in the right spot & only last about 20 seconds. I have had an inverted nipple a few months back. It is not mastitis or related to my period. It doesn’t go away and now I just have to be super careful putting my bra on & I have to do one sided hugs so I don’t rush hitting the spot on my boob. No lumps tho. It’s so random. I know they say breast cancer is not painful but I’m worried. Can anyone relate?
