Dog bite healing progress, thoughts?

Physician Responded

27F wound on arm, non smoker, is anything else relevant?

CW for blood in first image

My friend told me he thought there might be an infection, I'm convinced the redness would be spreading if that was true, and soreness etc

It's nice seeing the pics all together, interesting how the bruise formed!

Is it healing well? Any bets on scarring?

Backstory is the dog was a staffy shepherd mix, he was resource guarding another dog, removed that dog, tried to put him inside and he didn't like me grabbing the scruff of his neck so he told me off! A lot of the damage is from me yanking my arm back to dodge (and clearly failing) there likely would have been just one puncture if I'd simply stayed still, and not nearly as deep. All would have been avoided had I been less cocky, lesson learned!

The dog is fine, just old, cranky and arthritic and sick of everyone's bull ๐Ÿ˜‚

Further info -

X-rays taken, no bones broken or teeth lodged in arm (wasn't expecting either but good to know) Tetanus shot up to date Rabies doesn't exist in my country

When the bite happened I pulled my arm away so a large part of the bruise is from the skin being pulled away from the muscle (is how I knew it happened, I felt the skin being tugged away and not the bite itself)

And irrelevant but also good to know (for me anyway) the tattoo is unaffected, he missed it by 3 millimetres! It's the small things ๐Ÿ˜Œ
