First time player, game is amazing.

I took a long break from gaming 2 years ago, delved into books pretty hardcore and recently burnt myself out. I kept an eye on DD2 ever since it released, and finally I decided to pick it up a few days ago.

So far I have already logged 16 hours into it and I’m blown away with how much fun it is. I have barely even done any quests, currently trying to cull the monsters I was asked to slay.

So far I have been absolutely brutalized by a Drake and had to run for my life while all my pawns were decimated.

A weird scary night boss thing that I’m not even sure what it was because it absolutely nuked me and my pawns.

Fired a ballista bolt at a Griffin and it proceeded to flee before I could hit it again.

Hired the ugliest looking pawn known to man.

10/10 game can’t wait to keep playing
