beginner:

Hey beginner and just looking for tips starting out? It took me like four days of going to bed around noon before realizing i can walk below the town to the battle area(little slow maybe i was busy making sure to meet everyone& start friendships) but I saw someone said try and give them gifts everyday.. does anything work for everyone? because i don’t seem to have many items i think would be a gift since im days in the game. and when i go into the battle area should I have a party of people first or?
