Washing feet

Hi.

I ride around day to day on an electric bike. I see the streets around me, and I see our homeless. Its not an epidemic here, but its not good anywhere, and isnt getting better. My heart goes out to these people down on their luck, but i dont have much to offer.

I am an able person, so i can use my two hands. How strange would it be to offer to wash peoples feet and provide them with a fresh thick pair of socks? I live in Florida, and it sucks here. I would offer to wash their hands and clip nails as well, and would start carrying a foldable stool, plastic bags, and a small water basin with a gallon of water. This would be easy for me to do. I am not really a Christian but i value good people’s opinions and this felt like the right place to ask.
