Do people really need to deal with their sexual urges?

Like, i get it, i enjoy sex/masturbating, but if i can ignore it if necessary. Ive gone years without both and been fine. People talk about their urges like theyre "needs". Like i cant fathom it being so important id drop like other responsibilities. Or it really deciding any of my actions. Its whatever.
