Dumb Question - Ad Access
The org I work for, like many others, has a Head Office and then individual branches. Most of our branches have their own social media accounts which they run themselves, independently of HO, using templates etc. We only use ads on the Corporate, Head Office account designed to represent the whole organisation. Therefore, only members of the HO Marketing team have ‘permissions’ in Meta to use ads.
My manager mentioned that the reason none of the IG accounts are connected/paired with their relevant FB account in our Meta Business Suite is because, once they are connected, we can no longer restrict people’s permissions so that they cannot use ads.
Is this correct? I’d never heard of this before and always thought you could restrict permissions regardless.
Please ask clarifying questions if this makes no sense lol!
