We pick your room ocean balcony view

We have a room currently booked with a virtual indoor balcony view. However we were considering changing it to a balcony view. The let them pick your room is more within our budget, but the asterisk at the bottom says the view could be obstructed? I’m assuming this just goes to say for all of the rooms but has anybody actually gotten an ocean balcony and had it obstructed in any way? Sorry for the silly questions as this will be our first cruise experience. Thank you
