Not interested

First generation college student and I need advice.

I made it into a pretty good undergrad (Texas A&M) and I study political science due to the fact that it's what "most" lawyers just study.

Little to my knowledge, I have 0 interest in politics and find myself dreading those courses. I have had the worst semester in my colligate career due to these Poli Sci courses.

Does major matter?

Does going to the bush school of government help me while applying to law schools?

I am dead-set on going to law school and I would appreciate any sort of advice.
