I'm feeling pretty proud of myself because Mantis is pretty much the character I'm known for to my friends.. I love her entire setup so I knew it HAD to be her I grind the title on and knew I was at a major points disadvantage being a healer too having to be a DPS Mantis. I missed out on Round 1 after getting Top 500 and being a few away from Top 100 so I vowed to get top 10 on the leaderboard for the 2nd and final round and the grind was real.

Honestly this was one of the funnest events I've been part of minus the physical and mental toll of it. The sleep deprivation was REAL and anytime I did sleep it would be short thinking ''I'm going to lose my spot'' it was a strange feeling.

I made a lot of new friends who were also going hard to get a high rank and it made you want to go for it more with how supportive everyone was.. honestly this community felt so different to comp. I was meeting players on the opposite team (especially Jeff players) who recognized me from other games and refused to attack. I was somehow acknowledged by a streamer I watch and I had a Mantis on the opposite team that I didn't even know congratulate me for being Top 10. Hell even I started recognizing people from the leaderboard of characters I don't even play haha! I'll never be doing that again, that's for sure. Maybe they should try it with skins/nameplates, that'd set everyone into a frenzy.

Did any of you guys get a title? where did you rank on the leaderboard?

Just earned the 'Planet-Sized-Brain Mantis' title. Who else participated in the event?
