Upcoming South America and Asia trip set up advice

Hiya, so I’m about to set off for 8 months to Asia and SA - was meaning to get some lenses for my Sony A7iv - I rented the 70-200 GM which was amazing but too heavy for hikes etc.

I wasn’t too sure about what would be the best set up and thought about getting the Sony 24-105 F4 and then maybe the tamron 50-300?

Would you think that is a decent set up

Ideally just wanting lightweight for portability and sharpness to images

Any advice would be appreciated
