Will give my opinion on if things are authentic for free (tips are no needed but appreciated)
Hey, I’ve been into collecting sports autographs since I was around 10. Growing up in Chicago, I got exposed to a lot of big names and different types of memorabilia early on—baseballs, jerseys, cards, you name it. Over the years, I’ve learned to spot a lot of the signs of authentic versus fake signatures just by eye. Things like signature flow, pen pressure, and consistency with known authentic examples are big giveaways. I always double-check against PSA/DNA or JSA examples when I’m unsure, and I’ve gotten good at spotting things like autopen, preprints, or clubhouse signatures. I’m still learning every day, but I’ve been around long enough now to know when something feels off. I’m always down to help other collectors spot the real from the fake.
