Ouch the lid fell on my fingers. Tip - close the lid when not in use or adjusting feet.

My fault during assembly I was kneeling down and adjusting the wheel height. I must have left the lid open not really thinking about it and it tilted just enough and crash OWWWWW! If my hand had been more in the center of the griddle I think I could have broken a couple fingies. But they are just bruised and sore.
