Mourning my ebf journey
I am a day shy of 10 weeks pregnant and my supply has just started tanking. My almost 7 month old needs more milk than ever so been giving her kendamil goat formula and nursing but when I pump to replace a feed now I hardly get 2 ounces anymore. I’m just sad that I couldn’t get her to even 9 months of being breastfed because I accidentally got pregnant again. I enjoyed the first 6 months of breastfeeding so much and thought I could push through to tandem feeding but it seems like it’s coming to a close soon. Luckily she takes a bottle so easily. Just needed to mourn this journey with my firstborn because I feel like it was so healing and precious for me. A stupid reason I’m even more upset is that even though I know people wean or choose not to breastfeed for any reason I just feel like I’m gonna be judged soooo hard in my community for stopping right now. Rationally I know that there’s nothing wrong with formula but emotionally I can’t help but feel like I’ve done such a disservice to my baby despite ebf for 6.5 months. I guess I just want someone other than my husband to tell me I did my best
