Feeling Fluid Movement During Lymphatic Massage

I had my first lymphatic massage today. I loved it, but did notice something odd.

During the massage it felt like the therapist would move balls of fluid around-almost the entire length of my spine sometimes-that would slowly disperse. I've had loads of regular massages and osteopathic manipulations, but have never felt anything similar. It didn't feel like a normal knot, and even if it was a knot (which it was not) it wouldn't have disappeared with such light pressure as my massage therapist used.

Note: I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. I also have an appointment in July to discuss possible lipedema and/or lymphedema.
