Just received a notice from my insurance, Cigna, that the MRI ordered was not medically necessary!

Anybody run into being denied an MRI to check for damage from their insurance company? Oh how pissed off I am that they just say not necessary and they won't pay. I'll try to fight it, but does anyone else have any similar stories? I'm going to call my doctor tomorrow to see if there is some other code that can be used to get it through.

Crock of SHI#! I've heard horror stories and now I get to deal with the greedy bastards myself! What a pain!
