pelvic congestion syndrome pain management

I have severe pelvic congestion syndrome. what have you all done as far as pain management prior to embolization? I am having a hard time and my appointment for the surgery consult keeps getting pushed out farther. I have been waiting since February and my appointment isnt until the end of July. for those who have already done embolization did you receive any post op medication for pain management?
