Has anyone ever found anything in stock in Pokemon vending machines?

I check the one at the QFC near me when I'm there, among others when I'm sporadically out and about, but I've literally never seen any of them have any stock... Curious if it's just a "living in a dense city" thing. Even north and south out of the city I've never seen any stock in them, though. It's been like a month straight of empty machines.

Mostly just wondering if I'm insanely unlucky or if anyone else who checks them is also having trouble finding any inventory.
