How to fix connection timeout on switch???

Basically the title — I’m playing on my switch and every time I try to load into a map or server or anything it keeps telling me “connection timed out”. I’ve tried restarting my console, reconnecting to the internet, console and software are both up to date, etc.

Has anyone ran into this? Any idea how to fix it? I’ve been fighting with it for over an hour and I’m going nuts 😭 just wanna play my silly lil dinos
