Skyrim loading a save game while leaving Whitrun.

So something really strange happend today while leaving Whitrun throught the main gate. I had just added a few new outfits, nothing too crazy and when I exited the main gate I had a much longer then usual loading time. When the game finally loaded it loaded a prevoius save game across the map in Solitude. Has anyone see this strange glitch? Could this be a sign of a save game corruption?
