Surgery Timing? Weather/deductible?

Advice

I live in a very hot climate (TX) where Summer lasts from May-October and is pretty much unbearable without swimming. It’s the only activity I can do outside, which I don’t want to lose for the mental health benefits (reverse SAD is so real)! I was thinking maybe I’d wait to get a reduction until the swim season is over in November, but by end of year would it be smarter to wait an extra 2 months until next Jan. to hit my deductible early in the year?

Overall, is there a best time of year for surgery? Thanks! :)
