XS20 Lens choice

Hello, I have never posted here and this would be my first camera with interchangeable lenses. I’m buying an XS20 for a trip I’m going on and am trying to decide on a lens to bring. I just want to get one to start off as I don’t want to carry a bunch of stuff around when all I’m really wanting to do is some videos and vlogging and maybe some portraits. I’m leaning towards either the 15-45 or 16-50 kit lenses. I’m not necessarily requiring incredible performance, I have an IPhone 16 PM that shoots pretty good video I just prefer the intentionality of a dedicated camera. My real question is, will I be disappointed with the 15-45 lens, is it too slow or is the ois and light weight going to be good for the basic things I’m doing. The 16-50mm is about 300 usd more and I could do it if I really needed to but I’d like to keep the total price down if I can. There is also the option of just buying the body and perhaps doing a sigma or something but I feel that typically the best budget option besides buying used is getting a kit lens. Down the road if I choose to get something more premium I might but just for now I want to stick to something lower cost for the trip.
