Hey All, question about early maintenance

Hi All - I just hit 3,000 miles on my 2025 Tundra iForce Max Hybrid. My understanding is the normal 5,000 maintenance is just tire rotation and fluid top off. I want to get an oil change.

Questions:

  1. Is it OK if I get the oil change at say Valvoline, or would you recommend I get this one at the dealer?

  2. Would you recommend asking the tech (Toyota or Valvoline) to inspect the filter and look for evidence of metal shavings?

  3. Would you have the dealer turn OFF the "Engine Sound" that is put through the Premium Audio sytem?

  4. Would you ask the dealer to check for evidence of abnormal wear on the tires?

  5. Anything else to consider?
