What do I do about these slugs!?!?

I am new to living on the ground floor and having a porch. I walked outside tonight and the porch was absolutely infested with slugs. On the walls, on the furniture, on my plants. Is there anything I can do? I know I’m being a baby but I’m genuinely so grossed out, this is my third summer in Raleigh and I have never experienced this.
