Dr moving me to Cyp from Prop

Question

So- I have recently found a doctor that supports what I need where I’m now living. I was placed on HRT and low dose TRT by my obgyn about 2 years ago due to Ovarian Failure (POI) at age 29. However, my obgyn only prescribes testosterone cream and while it helped a little bit, it wasn’t spectacular and I have a young toddler I was worried about coming into contact with my placement. I informed my doctor I would be self-protocoling injections (which she had no issues with) and after tons of research- went with test prop. I have been stable and doing fantastic with the prop at a dosing of 2mg/daily. Every other day and I had too many fluctuations as I am incredibly sensitive to hormone fluctuations in general.

I finally found a doctor where I now live to take over all of my protocol, including testosterone. They agree the cream isn’t a great choice for me, especially at the low dosage it was, and given my labs and how I feel like where I’m at as far as dosage. The problem is they don’t prescribe test P, and only cyp. So they want me to move to test C at 15-18mg a week as a comparable dosage apparently and he suggested I do 3/week at 5-6mg each instead of once or twice weekly given how susceptible I am to fluctuations.

I’ve read a lot of things in this forum regarding issues moving away from test P and I’m a little hesitant because it’s been so great to me. Any ideas on what to really watch for as far as negative symptoms and any idea how it might differ from the prop? I’m open to any stories about switching to cyp and it being positive as all I’ve seen are negatives from the ladies who were doing well with prop first.

Thanks ladies!!
