Course Registration Question

Current high school senior here enrolled for Tulane next year, and I'm starting to think about my classes. Has anybody here taken dance classes at Tulane? If so, are they more about the academic study of dance or learning how to dance?

For context, I'm not pursuing it as a major or minor or anything, just trying to improve my skills for any future event where there may be a dance floor, b/c right now, I look a bit ridiculous out there. Thanks!
