Are the later seasons worth watching?

I'm an older fan, I've been watching ninjago with my brothers for YEARS. I remember sitting down with them, and watching the pilots before they got removed from Netflix, I remember rewatching and rewatching even as I got older, (I'm actually on a rewatch right now, lol)

I was wondering, are the newer seasons worth watching? I've only ever watched pilot season to season seven, never anything after. I've seen clips and it seems like it's focused on different ninja? (I almost said ninjas, but then I remembered the skeletons asking the proper plural from the pilots...)
