Missed roommate deadline, chance of still rooming together?

My current roommate and I planned to room together for the upcoming year. But my roommate did the prepayment later in the month and we both forgot about the roommate manager deadline, thinking we had more time. Is there still a possibility of us getting a double room together? We don't have premade group priority and have to find a room with 0 slots filled so I'm worried we'll just have to get another roommate.
