Dealers unavailable after installing mods.

A friend and I just installed mods through the Thunderstore mod manager and when we went to give our dealers product it gave us the line "reach friendly with one of x's connections." However, despite being friendly with all the required NPCs for the first 4 dealers, they are completely unavailable. It's as if we never purchased them or have any of their connections unlocked. We uninstalled all the mods and launched through Steam and we still can't get our dealers back.

I can't find any past threads on an issue similar to this so has anyone else experienced this bug, and if you did, how did you fix it?
