Partner Bottle Feeds

I’m only 2 weeks in and have been exclusively breast feeding. The lack of sleep is catching up to me, and even though my SO gets up to burp, swaddle, and change diaper at night, the resentment is starting to seep in.

He stays up later than me so I’d love to get into a routine where he is able to bottle feed her while I sleep and I can take over anywhere from 12-2 when he goes to bed through the morning.

I use the elvie catcher and am getting minimal to put in the fridge but for some reason haven’t brought myself to pull out a pump. My LC suggested waiting as long as possible to pump, and I don’t actually know what I’m waiting for, but I’m hesitant for some reason.

When did you introduce a bottle? When did you pump vs feed? How do I prevent engorgement? Should I stick it out?
