should i sell my old roommates phone?

So I had a roommate last year that moved back to her home country in December. She received a few packages in January just after she moved back home, and had some of her friends keep them for her. Two months ago she received a small box and naturally I went to text her, but the number was no longer active. I don’t have any of her socials and no way to contact her. Since it seemed like a lost cause, I opened the box and there was a new looking iPhone 12 pro in there. No one can reach her and it’s been two months. Should I sell it?
