The show really is going a different direction than the game

In the game when they got to the theatre Ellie was so devoted in revenge that she called Dina a burden, in the show they just never argued and slept together and be happy? Ok I guess, at least in this part it’s really different from what the game was trying to tell.

I still remember the game’s director comment, not exact words but I think they say Ellie’s Seattle journey is a journey of becoming more and more lonely, pushing everyone around her away to get revenge, guess the show won’t start showing that before episode 5.
