Roadtrip ideas for a father-daughter trip, first time in nfl

Hello! Hoping to get some feedback on a preliminary itinerary with dad. There is so much on the internet, and it is a bit overwhelming filtering through all the beautiful options! We love nature views, hiking, animals, history and seafood. Dad is healthy but 75, so I am trying to keep hiking to an easy or moderate level.

So far this is what I've got:

Day 1: arrive in st johns, explore the city Day 2: thinking of booking the McCarty historic 3 hr tour (includes Cabot tower, signal hill, quasi vidi, hello bean row, government house and a few other things). Any thoughts for the other half of the day? Day 3: drive to Trinity, do the skerwink trail. Thoughts for the other half of the day? Day 4: drive to bonavista, booked a whale/iceberg boat tour in the morning. Thoughts for the rest of the day? Day 5: no plan yet Day 6: no plan yet, but have to drive back to st johns for the late evening Day 7: no plan yet, morning and early afternoon are free (flight in the evening).

A few activities that I found, but not sure what to prioritize or which days to add them to: Elliston for puffin watching Dungeon provincial park Terra nova park Gun hill over Trinity Burin peninsula, tickle cove, sugar loaf hill

Open to other ideas! Thanks in advance.
