Gift ideas: aviation-related gift for a younger teenager av-geek who is not yet ready for flying lessons

I am looking for Bar Mitzvah gift ideas for a close family friend who is a budding av-geek, much like myself.

Relevant context: the family recently lost their home in a fire; they are wealthy/not at all struggling for money and have “stuff” covered. The kiddo is more interested in experiences, given that he has very recently experienced how fleeting physical things can be. He has also already been offered flying lessons, and has decided he is not ready yet.

Is there like, an airport tour or something like that? Is there hire-a-pilot to show the kid around…idk even where or what? location is Southern California.

I’d love to give him a super cool experience for this important milestone in his life, and I would so appreciate suggestions! I am looking to spend a couple hundred dollars.
