1000 Points for Captain Volos

Hi everyone. (Bless the Curse)

As a caveat, I have not played 10th edition yet but a group of friends and I are building our first 1000 points lists for narrative, casual gaming with a mind also on providing a fairly balanced and fun experience.

For myself I would like to create a force of Black Dragons themed closely or loosely, as the factors allow, based upon the second company that feature in The Death of Antagonis and Tribute of Flesh, i.e. Captain Volos and Dreadnaught Nithigg.

Thank you to hendrong for asking how players are running their Black Dragons.

What do you think about either the Blood Angels Libertor Assault Force or the Space Marine Firestorm Assault being suitable for reflecting the nature and battle doctrine of the Black Dragons?

In the case of the Blood Angels (Black Dragons) Liberator Assault Group, I’ve come up with a list of a 1000 points that I’m hoping will tick all the boxes of theme appropriate, balanced and fun.

I would much appreciate any pointers.
