Lane and Zack is so depressing

I’m rewatching the start of season 7 right now and I forgot how absolutely depressing their marriage is. Even before Lane finds out she’s pregnant, she was having regrets. She said she looked at Zack like “I can’t believe I am married to that man” in the worst way after 4 DAYS. Even if the honeymoon sucks, 4 days after her wedding she should’ve had positive feelings about the marriage or Zack. But poor Lane can’t catch a single break. Bad honeymoon, bad sex, not happy about the man she married, and then boom twins. I can’t believe we’re supposed to like this for her. It’s all so lazy like the writers were just tying up loose ends and remembered they didn’t have anything planned for Lane so let’s just marry her and Zack and give them some kids. Still just don’t know why they had to make every part of it so sad.
