How to best play her? and teams

Hello! I pulled and built varesa, but I'm not sure how to utilize her effectively. Like ik her skill let's get plunge quickly, but the 2nd with full nightsoul seems really slow in comparison to other plunges. I could just be dumb, but please lmk if there's a better way of using her. Also, current team is Kazuha (for that swirl and extra stamina cost offset), any hydro, xuanyun, and veresa. Lmk any other good team combos, most of the ones i see don't really work, like idk how xilonen works well if you want to buff veresa with xianyun with her being anemo, yk?
