Third Party Router

Hello everyone! As the title states I have a question regarding using a third party router with Starlink. I've been a HughesNet customer and it has been the worst internet experience of my life. Anyway, Starlink became available again in my area last week and I quickly ordered the kit and installed it. I've been using it for about four days now and am loving it. The speeds are drastically different than HughesNet. Mind you, I've been getting 150mbs+ download most of the time and on occasion it will drop down a little but it's still so much faster than what HughesNet provided me. Anyway, I'm looking into buying a NetGear Nighthawk Router to use instead of the Starlink Gen 3 one that came in the kit. In hopes I can get better coverage around my house and possibly even better performance. Now I'm very content with how it's been working so far. For work, streaming and even gaming. But will a third party router make it even better or is it a waste of money? Thank you in advance!
