Shipping a car CONUS?

Moving from VA to CA and my husband and I will be driving cross-country. I would really rather not drive separately and instead drive with him and ship my car. I’ve found mixed answers online if we could be reimbursed or if the military would move our car CONUS to CONUS? This is my first PCS and any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!
