Backup Trolling Motor

I am looking for recommendations on what thrust i need on a trolling motor for emergency use only. My boat is a 2003 Chaparral 200ssi that is around 3200 lbs. Can I get away with an 8lb thrust troller to get me to the dock in Bay or lake conditions or should I got higher?
