Has anyone had more than 6 shots?

I am in Australia and my doctor wants me to continue having the shots as part of ongoing O.R.T and i just want to have these 6 -100 shots and be done with it , I miss having a libido and after 30 years of being opioid dependant I truly feel like i am done with this , has anyone here kept on getting the shots and continued it as part of their opioid replacement therapy ? Have you experienced any side effects from being on it for a long period of time? I guess i am just worried of the long term of being on this and then eventually just ending up feeling as crap as I was on suboxone and side effects out weighing the positives.
