WHAT THE HELL IS THIS SHOW AND HOW DO I EVEN WATCH IT!?!?!?

I really want to watch the whole of evangelion (in chronological order), but i don't know how. What's Evangelion Rebuild?? What's Evangelion 1.0?? What's Evangelion 2.0??? What is Evangelion 3.0 and 3.0 + 1.0???? Am i missing any of the shows or movies?????? Will it give me an existential crisis??? Is the show itself an existential crisis??? This entire web of shows and movies is very, very confusing
