Good evening friends! For those of you that have done wheel spacers, I have a few questions for you. A few months ago I acquired some take off GR86 wheels and bought spacers (I forget the size off-hand maybe 15 or 20mm, but they’re thick enough I needed the longer studs). I am fortunate to have access to a lift and all the tools I believe necessary to remove the stock wheel studs to swap in the new, longer ones to accommodate the spacers and subsequently, the wheels. My questions are as follows:

1. Do I need to remove brake assemblies to get the old studs out (forgive me if that’s a dumb question, I’m a helicopter mechanic and this has never been something I’ve attempted lol)?

2. If removal of brakes is necessary, what are the steps I need to take regarding the electronic parking brake, or does someone know of a good YouTube video to reference for this task?

3. Any special tools I need for these tasks? I am fairly well-equipped with your typical mechanic’s tools, but no idea if I need special tools.

4. Should I remove my old TPMS sensors from the stock wheels to put in these, get an additional set of OEM TPMS sensors for these, or get aftermarket (I still want them to connect to the car so I know if I have low pressure)? If it matters, I’m probably going to either sell or make the stock wheels my winter wheels (I currently have a set of 15” steelies for winter wheels with Blizzaks).

TIA!

P.S. these are getting powder-coated bronze and the cracked Toyota logo has already been replaced. 😎
