Extremely Dry Lips that i’ve never experienced (help?)

Two weeks ago, I had a dry patch on my top lip. No matter how much vaseline i put on my lips, it was still dry. i didn’t really think much about it because i always struggle with dry lips. It felt as though my lips were going back to normal until Wednesday. I noticed I have noticeable fordyce on my top lip. I never had before. But I am a crazy hypochondriac so I tried not to think much of it. Thursday, I woke up to a swollen lip & that fordyce previously mentioned, looking scab-like. I immediately have been using Mupirocin to help & constantly applying vaseline (as i always do). & it seems as though, it is healing. but now its still very rough & it itches a bit. I also woke up with them slightly swollen today too. I am new to having seasonal allergies so maybe this is a reaction to that? I am not known to have any allergies towards food or products so I cannot fathom what could have triggered it if not seasonal allergies. I just want my lips to go back to normal😭. I’ve never had this problem & I have a trip in a couple days & my lips are making me so embarrassed. Does anyone know what could help get them back to normal in like a few days
