Is Star Citizen already playable?

I've been on and off from this project for years now. Tried to come back after 4.0, got hit in the face with the usual pot of game breaking bugs and decided again to give it some time while enjoying some other games.

With CIG's declared focus on playability in 2025 and given we are a third of the year in, how do you all feel about playability right now? Has it improved significantly compared to 4.0? Should I give it another go now or there are still too many game breaking bugs happening often?
