Clearblue fertility monitor has false readings after missing test on suspected peak days? TTA3
Hey y'all. My wife and I have been using the clearblue fertility monitor to facilitate the Marquette method for the last year with pretty good success so far and I'm wondering if there's someone with experience with the device here. She has missed some testing days in the past, and we've noticed a trend with the readings in these instances.
For example, last week, she was testing high and then forgot to test on days we assume she peaked. A couple days after that, she felt ovulation cramps. It's been days since she felt the cramps, and she is still testing high. This has happened in the past, and the machine will tell her she tested high for nearly two weeks, until it says to stop testing and wait for the first day of her next period.
I guess my question is, if you miss testing on your peak days, will it just keep reading as high for the remainder of your testing days because it missed the ovulation window? When this has happened, we generally play it pretty safe and try not to do anything around this time.
