Ongoing panoramic sunroof leaks, mo7

Well after battling sunroof leaks on and off for most of my 150k miles and 7 years of ownership, the pano glass is getting sealed with some clear vinyl tape.

Would hope it would never come to this but after thousands of dollars last year paying for all new seals and all new drain lines I'm done with it.

Such a great cat mechanically for me (17 Alltrack SEL dsg) but the sunroof leaks almost have ruined my ownership entirely.

This time they claim it needs a new sunroof frame $1700- but deny it's not a defective manufacturer item.
