Those that have gotten regular (not implanted) dentures in their early 20s, do you regret it?
Hi friends! I (21f) am about to spend $10k that I don’t have trying to save my teeth ($3500 of that is for 1 tooth???) I don’t have insurance or anything and I’m working two jobs to pay for it. I know I will need dentures before I’m 30, as I already need partials. I have no molars on my bottom left, one on my bottom right, and I’m about to lose all of my top molars. I also have a front tooth that’s like 95% filling and has a root canal that they’re going to put a crown on but I am 99% sure I might get a year max out of that crown and need a partial to replace that tooth as well. I know I’ll never be able to afford implants and that’s makes me really upset because I know my bone will shrink a lot because of how young I am. I see people post on here and all of you guys look amazing and have beautiful smiles, and I’m so happy for all of you. But for some reason when I think about it for myself it makes me greatly depressed and honestly pretty suicidal. I’ve been neglected and in poverty my whole life and that doesn’t seem like it will ever change so if I’m struggling my whole life anyways then what’s the point, ya know? Anyways, I want to see how you guys are doing as well because i truly can not come to terms with this on top of the way my life is already going. Thank you guys:)
