A1C 5.7% but HOMA-IR of 0.7?

Early March 2025 Fasting insulin: 4 uIU/mL Fasting glucose: 73 mg/DL HOMA-IR: 0.7 (which is very insulin sensitive) C-peptide: 0.4 ng/ml (marked low on range 0.68 to 2.16) Weight: 140 lbs (I’m thin)

However, A1C came out at 5.7%

Early December 2024: Fasting glucose: 80 A1C: 5.7 Weight: 165 lbs

Then went on a low carb diet and got those results in early march.

I don’t understand why my fasting blood glucose and fasting insulin are both ok, HOMA-IR indicates insulin sensitive and yet my A1C is 5.7 again and no change at all?

Could anyone help me make sense of this? For reference, I’m 37 Asian male 5’9 weight 135 lbs and thin. I’m currently on low carb diet, whole food, intermittent fasting of 16:8, alternate between resistance training and HIIT running 30 min every other day.
